Looking for a place to test new equipment? How about being at the forefront of cold ocean research? Need varying depths and cold temperatures? Look no further than the town of Holyrood. The pristine waters in our harbour are perfect for testing. The harbour depths vary from from 10m to 300m, making research easy to set up and tear down, while being incredibly accessible and conveniently located. With access to the most southernly point of the Labrador current, there will be water at near-freezing Arctic temperatures available all year round.

We are primed to be the world’s gateway to arctic research. With a state of the art Marine Institute facility located right on the Holyrood harbour, all of the knowledge, tools, and support you need are just past the shore.
