Marine Institute (MI) – a campus of Memorial University, the MI is Canada’s most comprehensive centre for education, training, applied research, and industrial support for ocean industries. MI’s courses, programs, and research are internationally renowned in the ocean industry.  Their buildings are home to world-class ocean testing and research facilities, that are made available for both academia and industry. 

Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) – a regional brand of the Canadian government whose mandate is to create opportunities for economic growth in Atlantic Canada by helping businesses become more competitive, innovative, and productive. 

National Research Council (NRC) – Canada’s largest research and development organization. Their mission is to partner with Canadian organizations who are addressing critical issues to help commercialize next generation solutions. 

Ocean Super Cluster (OSC) – an Atlantic Canadian not-for-profit that brings companies together to foster collaboration, sustainability, and modernization of Canada’s ocean economy.  The OSC strives to invest in improving supply chain opportunities,  and works with its members to develop and attract talent while fostering more ocean start-ups in the ocean innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
